CAT - Common Admission Test
Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes in India including the IIMs. On the basis of CAT percentile score, eligible candidates are short listed and called for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI).

CAT Application Procedure
The candidates have to first buy the CAT voucher. Registration should be done online at www.catiim.in. Candidates must have a valid email id as IIMs will do all the communications by that email id only.
MAT - Management Aptitude Test
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes. AIMA-MAT is conducted 4 times a year: in February, May, September and December. The list of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to test.
AIMA MAT exam is held in two formats. Candidates have option for taking MAT either as paper based or computer based test.

Candidates should be graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.
